First National Industrial Hemp Seed Bank beingshown to people there
The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Agricultural Analysis Provider (USDA-ARS) is opening the country’s very first hemp that is industrial bank at Cornell University in Ny.
Senator Charles Schumer (D-NY) helped secure federal financing for the USDA-ARS which will make this bank feasible, while also attempting to reduce federal restrictions that limit the freedom of American farmers to grow industrial hemp as being a commodity.
The USDA-ARS will continue to work with Cornell University scientists, who’re currently collaborating together on other plants.
